Unique handcrafted Necklaces and Earrings

I've created a range of unique necklaces and earrings using acrylic paint, resulting in tiny original artworks that will get you noticed, and no one will have anything like it.  The colours swirl and flow creating wonderful shapes and hidden images.  Each one different from the next with metallic and pearlised paints that catch the light as you move. There is also a choice of cabochon style from vintage to simple to sparkly hearts and turtles! 

With this method I create a large paint pour on to a silicone mat and swirl and move the colours until they looked really pretty - then the paint dies it's own thing!!  My husband said "you are literally watching paint dry" which was technically true but completely fascinating watching the process happen organically.

When it is fully set after a day or two you can peal the paint skin away from the silicone and then go over it with a glass cabochon to find the most interesting patterns that have formed, from there it is just a question of mounting it.

What this does mean is that each necklace, or pair of earrings is different, each is an original piece of artwork in its own right, it is impossible to make two the same.

When I sell these at markets it's really interesting to hear what the people can see in the patterns.
